An iPhone app that lets you stay in touch with your friends in FFXIV, right from your phone. Read and reply to tells, party, (cross-world) linkshell and Free Company chat, plus say, yell and shout. Check your contacts and see who is online, and search inventory and armory across every character, retainer and chocobo saddlebag. Manage retainer ventures and submarine and airship missions with live timers, switch characters, send them off to do tasks such as gathering, and even set up parties for you while you cook dinner ahead of a long raid night.
Currently in a heavily limited private alpha, with no plans for a public release.
iLlagan builds on repositories that are already publicly available, and custom IPCs were created to tie them together for a seamless experience. AI assistance was minor: it was limited to debugging and setting up UI elements, and was not used to create the app's structural code or design. The app is 95 percent programmed by me. It is not vibe coded: it was built and designed from the start to be a companion app for the game, with the use of the Illagan Communications plugin and Dalamud.
